CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) — As the City of Cedar Rapids enters phase two of a street enhancement project on 10th Street SE access to the Mercy Medical Center has been altered.
10th Street from 5th Avenue remains closed up to the 10th street entrance of Mercy Medical Center. That entrance will remain open during construction with one driveway serving as both an entrance and exit.
To access this 10th Street driveway entrance, a press release from Mercy recommends using the portion of 8th Avenue that remains open.
There are signs posted directing traffic flow to keep drivers safe during this time.
Mercy’s Hall-Perrine Cancer Center remains fully accessible from 5th Avenue during the construction period.
