BELLEVUE, Iowa (KWWL) – When most people think of the Fourth of July, hot dogs and fireworks are usually the go-to. But in Bellevue, the real holiday treat is on the Mississippi River.
This week, the City of Bellevue celebrated their annual heritage days. Which is why the Ski Bellevue Show Team came back for their hometown performance.
Dave Vallant, Vice President of Ski Bellevue, said that the whole town comes out to watch them perform.
“Moms and Dads came with sons and daughters and aunts and uncles,” said Vallant.
Ski Bellevue is one of four ski teams in the state. And while the team performs across the state, Vallant said their favorite performance is back at home.
“This is our big one, this is our Super Bowl. It’s the biggest crowd of the year here,” said Vallant.
The Ski Bellevue Show Team has been performing in the area for over thirty years.
