Iowa or love? Both! Cedar Valley man selling shirts to raise money for nonprofits

CEDAR VALLEY, Iowa – A Cedar Valley man has created “Iowa love” apparel and gifts.  He says they are made in the Cedar Valley, and 50% of the profits go to help local nonprofits across Iowa.

A little back story, William Heathershaw says it was late 2018, and he was driving from Minnesota to Iowa. When he saw the “Welcome to Iowa” sign, he thought it said, “Welcome to love.”

Eventually, he sketched out what became the “Iowa love” symbol.

His hope is for “Iowa love” to partner with local businesses across Iowa, and together, they can support Iowa nonprofits.
