(CNN)–A teen mom has been accepted into more than two dozen colleges and has received more than one million dollars in scholarships. And, she did all this while juggling the responsibilities of motherhood.

“She came to school. She took care of business and her motivation has been her child,” says the Assistant Principal of Trezevant High School, Yolanda Sherrod.

Lamyrical Harris recently graduated with $1 million dollars in scholarships, but there’s another driving force that has kept her focused, her son.

Harris became pregnant her junior year of high school, but still managed to push herself.

“It just made me go 10 times harder, ” says Harris.

And, that she did. Harris went on to become valedictorian and now has been accepted into over 25 colleges.
