Credible Law Enforcement Organization certification to be given to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office

LINN COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) – The Criminal Justice Commission for Credible Leadership Development (CJC-CLD®) will be granting the Credible Law Enforcement Organization certification upon the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office is one of only two law enforcement agencies in the country to receive this recognition.

In order to participate in Credible Leadership Organization (CLO) training, employees must have 240 hours of training through the ICLD, read eight textbooks, and taken 45 online exams, proving their knowledge of the concepts and principles of the ICLD training.

The Credible Law Enforcement Organization certification award presentation will be held at the 1st floor classroom of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office tomorrow, May 21st at 4:00 p.m.

Sheriff Brian Gardner and Dr. Mitch Javidi, founder of the Criminal Justice Commission for Credible Leadership Development and the International Academy of Public Safety, will be present and available for comment.
