(NBC)–In Norway musicians played instruments made from ice in the ‘World’s Most Northerly Ice Music’ concert.  An organization called, ‘Greenpeace’ released a video showing the Norwegian performers playing instruments completely made out of ice.

The quartet braved the freezing temperatures and played a song called, ‘Ocean Memories.’  An iceophone, ice horn, and ice cello were among some of the instruments used.

Some may ask, “out of all of the places, why are they having a concert in the freezing cold?”  The group  says, they are highlighting the need to protect at least 30 percent of the world’s global oceans by 2030.
