Baby ducks saved by Marion senior living employees

MARION, Iowa (KWWL) — Employees at Summit Point Senior Living and officers with the Marion Police Department had a usual rescue mission today.

Summit Point said on Facebook a group of ducklings had been separated from their mother, after falling into a storm drain.

Pictures online show the employees lying on the ground, fishing out the baby ducks.

According to the post Director of Nursing Kate and Life Enrichment Lead Holly along with Marion Police officers lead the rescue mission.

About 9 baby ducks could be seen resting on a towel in a bucket.
