Midwest dealt with dirty rain and tan snow this week

If you noticed an unusual amount of dirt on your car this week, you’re not alone. While we were dealing with dirty rain, Minnesota saw tan snow. There was a blanket of a brown-orange mixture across parts of the state.

Experts say the color change is because of New Mexico and Texas. The same spring storm that caused blizzard conditions in Minnesota, also threw dust from New Mexico and Texas into the atmosphere.
