Happening this weekend: 5th annual Funky Junk-a-Loo

WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) – Now that spring has arrived, this weekend offers a great opportunity for you to get out and about, and why not do some shopping while you’re at it.

Main Street Waterloo will be hosting their 5th annual Funky Junk-a-Loo this weekend, March 23 and 24.  It’s a large marketplace of all things repurposed and vintage.

“The idea of Funky Junk-a-loo started from a small group of dedicated volunteers and has blossomed into a two-day vintage and repurposed vendor show in its fifth year,” said Jessica Rucker, Executive Director of Main Street Waterloo.  “Every square inch of space is used to highlight over 50 different vendors with distinct and creative items.”

Funky Junk-a-Loo will be held at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center downtown Waterloo. The event runs 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m until  3 p.m. on Sunday.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5.  You can also visit the event Facebook page for more information: https://www.facebook.com/events/172690596952022/
