Cedar Rapids Salvation Army sending people to Nebraska

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa–The Cedar Rapids Salvation Army Emergency Disaster team has been deployed by our divisional headquarters in Peoria, Illinois to assist with flood damage in Omaha Nebraska.

The team will assist others responding to the disaster by providing food and water to those in need. The Salvation Army has clean up kits that will be distributed to those who have any damage when they are able to re-enter their homes and businesses.

The Salvation Army in Cedar Rapids will be accepting financial donations for the victims. 100% of those donations will be sent to the Omaha area to assist in the recovery efforts.
