INDEPENDENCE, Iowa – An eastern Iowa dad has been missing for 45 days. Now his wife and kids are asking the public for help as the winter weather continues.
31-year-old Christopher Bagley was last seen in the Cedar Rapids Metro Area early in the morning on December 14th. He left his home on December 13th, and his truck was still in the driveway. He has not returned home since.
The Linn County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate this dad’s disappearance. Courtney Bagley, her 8-year-old son Mason and her 4-year-old daughter Sophia say they miss their dad and husband very much.
“It’s been emotional. We just want him home,” Courtney says. “We just want to find him.”
Courtney describes Chris’s last words when he left his home in Walker. “He kissed my forehead and he looked me in the eyes and said I love you.”
Chris missed Christmas with his family, something his wife says is very strange.
“He would not be able to tolerate not being with his kids, and not being around us. His dog is also like his pride and joy. He loves his dog so much.”
The family is asking the public for help. They’re asking people to share flyers, images of Chris, or any information. They’re also asking anyone who has any information on where Chris might be to please contact the Linn County Sheriff’s Department.
