Around 11,411 donuts made and sold to help families of Clinton firefighters

QUAD CITIES – A donut company is helping honor and remember a fallen hero.

Hurts Donut Co. posted to Facebook, saying they were able to raise $37,653.26 for Lt. Eric Hosette’s family and firefighter Adam Cain.

Sadly, Hosette was killed last Saturday after an explosion at the ADM plant in Clinton. Cain was seriously injured in the explosion. He is currently in Iowa City, as he continues to fight for his life.

Hurts Donuts says they are so thankful to everyone for showing their support for the Clinton Firefighters and the Clinton community.

The Davenport Fire Department and Bettendorf Fire Department helped with this fundraiser. According to the Facebook Post, around 11,411 donuts were made and sold.
