Iowa Red Cross unveils its new Emergency Response Vehicle

WATERLOO, Iowa—The debut of the new vehicle takes place on Thursday, January 10th from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the Hy-Vee on Ansborough Avenue and 4th Street.

At the event, attendees will be able to see how the new model will meet clients needs on large disasters around the country and local fire responses in Iowa.

In a release, Executive Director of the South and Eastern Iowa Red Cross Chapter, Pami Erickson, said, “We are incredibly excited to add this new, next generation emergency response vehicle to our fleet. This new vehicle allows us to continue to make an impact in Iowa but it will also have the capability to respond to all corners of the country when help is needed, during a hurricane, a wildfire or tornado among other disasters.”
