Man arrested after stabbing in Marion

Marion (KWWL) — A man has been arrested after police responded to a reported stabbing.

Marion police received the call around 7:44 p.m. Sunday night. They responded to a home in the 1300 block of 6th Street.

When police got there, they found a man inside the home with, what appeared to be, a stab wound on his left arm.

The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Quincy Franklin, 32, is accused of stabbing the man during an altercation.

Franklin was arrested and charged with willful injury causing bodily injury.

Franklin was taken to the Linn County jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
