Man charged with striking fixtures

FAYETTE COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL)– Ryan Nichols-Church was charged with striking fixtures, public intoxication, operating while intoxicated, driving while suspended, and failure to maintain control.

Last night, Fayette county deputies responded to a call of an erratic driver causing damage in Hawkeye. While searching for the vehicle, police located the 29 year old Nichols-Church. walking down County Road W14 South of St Lucas. Deputies also discovered a vehicle matching the description of the one in the report in a ditch where Nichols-Church was found.

He was then arrested and transported to Fayette County Jail.
