For over a decade, the University of Iowa has been listed among the top 20 of The Princeton Review’s top 20 party school rankings. This year, it didn’t make the cut.
Iowa has made the list every year since at least 2007 in a reputation it has long looked to overcome. In 2015, it ranked as high as number two after topping the list in 2014.
According to The Princeton Review, the rankings are based on ratings from students concerning the use of alcohol and drugs at the school, the number of hours spent studying a day and the level of popularity of fraternities and sororities.
