108 years later: NCC Fair runs through Sunday

The 108th National Cattle Congress Fair continues this weekend. The fair started Thursday and runs through Sunday.

Best-known for bringing agriculture, livestock and entertainment to Iowa, the fair has been a staple in Waterloo for more than 100 years.

KWWL’s Olivia Schmitt interviewed a few members of the Kent Family Circus on Friday morning. They will perform all weekend long.

The full video is above. Head ringmaster, Victor Kent, ate fire on camera, and Olivia even tried a few tricks of her own.

The gates open at 9 a.m. and close at midnight. The fair closes at 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Attendees can enjoy the Iowa Rodeo Cowboys Association finals, live music, exhibit halls, livestock shows and food.
