Today: It’s been 4 months since Jake Wilson’s disappearance

It has been four months since Jake Wilson was reported missing.

The La Porte City teenager told his family he was going for a walk along Wolf Creek, and he hasn’t been seen since.

His mom posted to Facebook, saying, "It is just like the first 40 minutes our stomachs ached because we couldn’t find you…
It is just like the first 4 hours we all were out searching to find you…
It is just like the first 4 days hundreds of people were still searching to find you…
It is just like the first 4 weeks we had your vigil to help you light your way home..
NOW IT IS 4 MONTHS and we are angry, scared and sad that your STILL not home Jake. We WILL find you or someone will speak up! Jake we miss and love you so much and need you home. #BringJakeHome"

La Porte City posted to Facebook, saying volunteers are needed to hang new blue ribbons this evening at 6:00 p.m. You can head to the Chamber Welcome Center by City Hall.
