The father of missing University of Iowa student, Mollie Tibbetts, says he believes his daughter was taken by someone she knows.
The search for Tibbetts is in its third week. She was last seen on July 18th in her hometown of Brooklyn.
If asked what he thinks happened, Mollie’s father says he believes she was taken and that she is alive.
Mollie’s father says they’ve been told one thing consistently by investigators.
He says, "The one thing authorities have said to us is that they’re really surprised in their hundreds, or maybe thousands of interviews, no one has anything bad to say about Mollie."
A reward fund set up for information leading to the safe return of Mollie has now passed $300,000 dollars.
