Body of young woman found in rural Lee County

The Department of Public Safety says the body of a white woman in her early to mid-20s has been found in rural Lee County.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office was called early on Sunday for the report.
A news release from DPS says investigators are aware of the search for missing University of Iowa student Mollie Tibbetts, and have no reason to believe the body is that of Mollie Tibbetts.
According to investigators, "there will be no other comments or statements released at this time in reference to the Lee County death investigation or the Mollie Tibbetts investigation."
