Simone Biles makes history during floor routine

(NBC) — Simone Biles is making history, again, in the gymnastics world.

On Sunday night, Biles landed a triple twisting double somersault in her floor exercise; that’s three times around with a double back flip.

If she does it in an international meet it will be know as “The Biles.”

It would be the second skill to have her namesake in international competition.

On Friday, she became the first female gymnast to do a beam dismount with two back handsprings into a double-double (two flips and two twists).

Biles also won her second consecutive U.S. national title; its her sixth overall.
