UPDATE: No students injured in car-school bus crash

UPDATE: Evansdale Police Chief Jeff Jensen told KWWL children were on the bus at the time of the crash, but none had any injuries.

The school bus was traveling south on Evansdale Drive. The sedan was traveling east on Gilbertville Road. The sedan failed to stop at the stop sign. The bus and the car collided, sending the car into a street light and knocking it over.

Chief Jensen said the driver of the sedan was stuck in her car. Evansdale Fire and Rescue had to remove her. She was then taken to the hospital with complaints of neck pain.

The children were picked up by another school bus.
