34-year-old Joshua Maricle was taken into custody on Wednesday, after officers say he tried to run from them in the area of West 6th Street and Grant Avenue. He was apprehended around 11:12 a.m.

Police issued a warrant for Maricle’s arrest after responding to the scene of stabbing on early Sunday morning in the 100 block of Allen Street. There, they found a 26-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to his chest. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital.
