Glenn Miller Orchestra returns to Allison’s Wilder Park Sunday, June 9–Free Admission


It’s become quite a tradition, and it’s happening again this year In Allison’s Wilder Park.

The world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra is coming back to Wilder Park in Allison on Sunday, June 9, for a two hour ‘free’ concert.

The free admission concert is set for 6:30-8:30 p.m. that Sunday night.

Several vendors will be on site providing food and refreshments. Handicapped parking will be provided.

In addition, a free shuttle services will be in operation to transport concert-goers to and from parking areas.

The Allison Park Board sponsors the annual event. The Allison Lions Club will be on hand to provide assistance with everything from parking to carrying lawn chairs.

If it rains, the concert will be moved to the gymnasium of the North Butler/Allison School at 513 Birch Street.

The Glenn Miller Orchestra remains one of the most sought-after Big Bands of all-time.
