It may take some doing to reach the kind of acclaim enjoyed by The Comedy Store or The Hollywood Improv, but Rodney's Kitchen in downtown Waterloo will give it a shot this Friday night, July 23, at 8 p.m.
Owner Rodney Lewis is known for his cooking, but, this time, Rodney has scheduled three performers for a night of comedy at Rodney's Kitchen, located at 624 Sycamore Street.
Admission will be $25.00 and with that, free margaritas, wine and beer. Chef Rodney Lewis says he'll also have available $7.00 wing baskets, $8.00 burger baskets and $10.00 Shrimp baskets for sale.
Hosted by Day Peace (Dylan Adam Peace) the Rodney's Kitchen night of comedic festivities will get underway at 8:00 p.m.
