EUGENE, Ore. (KWWL) -- Iowa's Laulaga Tausaga threw a personal best on Saturday, but for the 2019 NCAA discus champion it didn't hold up. Tausaga finished second to Arizona State's Jorinde Van Klinken on the final day of the NCAA Track and Field Championships.

Tausaga ripped off a personal best throw of 208 feet, 5 inches on her third of six attempts. That mark held up until Jorinde's final throw when she uncorked an NCAA meet record toss better than 213 feet to win the title.
