Tonight: The sky becomes mostly clear with temperatures dropping back into the 70s. It will still be very muggy.
Friday: We will be watching an area of storms in northwest Iowa tomorrow morning. They are forecast to take a dive to the south as the continue to weaken. A few remnant showers or storms may make it to eastern Iowa by late morning/early afternoon, but most locations stay dry. Another chance of isolated storms exists later in the afternoon as a front passes through. Highs once again will be in the lower to middle 90s with dew points in the upper 60s.
Friday Night: As the “cold” front passes through, isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible. Behind the front, it will get less humid, but not necessarily cooler.
This Weekend: Sunny and dry with high temperatures in the upper 80s to lower 90s. We will keep temperatures on the hot side into next week, but it won’t be as humid.
