Three arrested on drug and child endangerment charges after search warrant south of Waterloo

BLACK HAWK COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) — On May 12th, the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office and Tri-County Drug Task Force carried out a search warrant at the 9009 Douglas Dr. just south of Waterloo. This was a result of a drug trafficking complaint/investigation.

Three residents were arrested due to the warrant. All three have drug and child endangerment charges. Below is a list of the charges.

38-year-old Melissa Beck has been charged with:

  • Possession with Intent to Deliver Meth (Class C Felony)
  • Possession of Controlled Substance (Marijuana)
  • Child Endangerment (2 counts)

36-year-old Scott Gilstrap has been charged with:

  • Possession with Intent to Deliver Meth (Class B Felony)
  • Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd offense (Cocaine)
  • Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd offense (Marijuana)
  • Prohibited Acts--Prescription Drugs
  • Child Endangerment (2 counts)

37-year-old Tierzah Schubarth has been charged with:

  • Possession with Intent to Deliver Meth (Class C Felony)
  • Possession of Controlled Substance (Cocaine)
  • Possession of Controlled Substance (Marijuana)
  • Child Endangerment (2 counts)

All three have been incarcerated at the Black Hawk County Jail.
