WATERLOO (KWWL) -- Kenzie Roling proved once again Monday night why she's the most dominant player in the state. Roling doubled her state-leading season average, scoring six times as 2A's top-ranked team topped Waterloo Columbus (No. 2-1A) 7-1. The loss marked the first for the Sailors this season.
Roling found the back of the net four times in the first half to pace the Go-Hawks to a comfortable 4-0 lead at half.
Nikayla Youngblut gave Columbus a bit of life in the second half scoring to cut the deficit to three.
Roling, however, padded things with two more goals while assisting on a Morgann Aikey scoring strike to finish off a convincing win.
