CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) -- Cedar Rapids fire crews put out a fire that engulfed a car wash Monday afternoon.

Still, the Blue Lagoon Car Wash is being considered a total loss from the fire, which spread after a car caught on fire.

Cedar Rapids Firefighters were called to car wash at 5721 C Street SW at 2:10 p.m. and had the fire under control in just under 30 minutes.

Officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it did start with the car at the end of the wash bay on the south side. The car is also being considered a total loss.

There were no injuries reported in the fire.
