Coralville Mayor extends citywide mask mandate through end of May

CORALVILLE, Iowa (KWWL) -- The Mayor of Coralville has issued a new proclamation extending the city's mask mandate through May 31.

The mandate was set to expire on on Thursday, April 15.

Mayor John Lundell's updated order continues to require residents to wear a face cover that covers the nose and mouth when in a public place and one cannot stay six feet apart from others.

Public places include but are not limited to the following:

  • Grocery Stores
  • Pharmacies
  • Hardware Stores
  • Retail Stores
  • Public Transportation

There are some exceptions in place, which can be found in the proclamation below.
