TAMA COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) -- The Meskwaki Tribal Health Clinic is holding several COVID-19 vaccine clinics this week.
Appointments are available for the following clinics:
- Tuesday 4/13 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Meskwaki Tribal Health Clinic
- Wednesday 4/14 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Tama Civic Center
- Thursday 4/15 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Meskwaki Tribal Health Clinic
- Saturday 4/17 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. a drive-up clinic will be held behind the Meskwaki Casino
The clinics are open to anyone 16 and older. Minors must have a parent/guardian present to be vaccinated. The second dose of the vaccine will be scheduled after you receive your first dose.
You're asked to call 641-481-0842 or 641-481-1306 to schedule a time for your vaccine. Spanish speakers may call 641-481-1155.
The Meskwaki Tribal Health Clinic recommends calling ahead, but a limited number of walk-ins will be accepted. Recipients will receive the Pfizer vaccine.
