CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KWWL) — Starting on April 12, McClain Drive from Orchard Drive will start Stage 1 reconstruction. The road closure will be in effect for up to eight weeks (depending on weather).
City officials are asking for the public to stay away from the construction area. Large equipment will be moving back and forth on the closed street.
During the closure, alternate garbage pickup points will be needed for those who normally put automated collection carts in the closure area of McClain. Residents can put their collection carts on the open part of McClain Drive, Lilac Lane or Orchard Drive. This should be done on the normal day of collection for that particular street.
