(CNN) -- The Biden Administration is currently working on a system for people to prove they've been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
The system will involve a vaccine passport or a "vax pass." The passport can be used by individuals who are working in schools, the workplace, and can also be used for international travel.
According to the White Houses COVID-19 Response Team, there are several agencies involved with the planning of the vax pass, and the vaccine credentials could play a larger role in the future.
For some time, the travel industry has been suggesting to the Federal Government to develop some kind of universal "vax pass" system.
According to a Washington Post story, the demand for the pass is expected to become more urgent as more Americans get vaccinated every day.
