Seven charged after Fayette county drug bust

CLERMONT, Iowa (KWWL) -- The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office has arrested seven people after executing a fifth search warrant in fifteen months at a home in Clermont.

Deputies executed a search warrant around 11:00 Thursday night at 410 Union St. Clermont, and 401 Union Street in Clermont. After a search of the home, multiple individuals were arrested and charged.

Kevin Lane McGlaughlin, 56 of Clermont, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine and marijuana, gathering where controlled substances are used.  McGlaughlin was additionally charged with unlawful possession of prescription, gathering where marijuana is used, possession of drug paraphernalia, and interference.

Mickie Linn Ellis, 34 of Clermont, was arrested and charged with two counts possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine and marijuana, gathering where controlled substances are used.  Ellis was additionally charged with unlawful possession of prescription, gathering where marijuana is used, possession of drug paraphernalia, and interference.

Harley Davidson Stone, 19 of Clermont, was arrested and charged with gathering where marijuana is used, a serious misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christine Sue Stone, 47 of Clermont, was arrested and charged with gathering where marijuana is used, a serious misdemeanor, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

De’Jon Maurice Jakes, 22 of Clermont, was arrested and charged with gathering where marijuana is used, a serious misdemeanor, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference.

Keith Marlon Taylor, 57 of Postville, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine and gathering where controlled substances are used.

And Shannon Lee Thompson, 41 of Clermont, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine and gathering where controlled substances are used.

This is the second large scale arrest in Fayette County in less than a week. Officers say the search warrants stem from an ongoing investigation from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
