Tonight: The sky remains mostly cloudy through the night with lows dropping down to near 30. Areas that saw 1” of snow or more during the day will have lows drop into the mid-20s. The wind is light from the east at 5-10 mph.
Tuesday: We have a chance of rain while areas north of Oelwein could have some snow mixed in at times. High temperatures reach the low 40s north and low 50s south.
Tuesday Night: Partial clearing is expected with a light southwest wind. Temperatures by morning drop into the mid to upper 30s.
Wednesday: Another chance of rain as highs inch their way up reaching near 50. The wind is light from the north.
Thursday: This is the warmest day of the week. A warm front lifts north of the state with a gusty south wind pushing highs into the low 70s. There is a chance for showers/storms during the day and overnight as a cold front swings through.
Friday: Well that warm weather did not last long. Highs are back in the 40s with a gusty northwest wind. A few rain showers are possible in the morning but most of the day is expected to be dry.
