Today: Rain and a few wet flakes this morning will give way to mostly cloudy skies. There’s a chance skies could break up a little this afternoon and evening. High temperatures today will be 10-15 degrees below normal, with highs in the low to mid 40s. It’ll feel like a raw day for sure. Winds will be out of the northwest at 5-15 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy for overnight tonight. Winds will be out of the north at 5-10 mph. Low temperatures will surpass the freezing mark and reside in the mid to upper 20s, thus officially ending the growing season for all of Eastern Iowa.
Monday: There’s another chance of rain, with a few wet flakes/isolated snow showers for Monday. It’ll be cloudy and cold once again. Winds will be out of the ENE at 5-10 mph. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s.
Monday Night: Temperatures continue to plummet to the mid to upper 20s, with partly cloudy skies.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, with a chance of rain for Tuesday. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s.
The best chance of rain looks to be Thursday, with temperatures returning to the upper 50s to low 60s by then. Another cool down is looking to make an appearance next weekend.
