HIAWATHA, Iowa (KWWL) — "It's time to Mask Up!"
The City of Hiawatha officially began their "Stronger Together" campaign this week, encouraging residents to wear a mask.
According to their website, the city began this campaign to motivate individuals and businesses to care about fellow Iowans. The campaign asks residents to wear a mask whenever they're in a public setting and/or unable to social distance.
"By committing to wearing a mask when interacting with others, we can work together to slow the spread of the coronavirus in the City of Hiawatha," the post said.
