IOWA CITY, Iowa (KWWL) - Sixty-eight students and seven staff members are currently infected with COVID-19 in the Iowa City Community School District, according to the district's COVID-19 dashboard.

The number of students equates to less than half of one percent of all students in the district. In addition, 109 students and nine staff members are currently quarantining due to exposure to COVID-19.

One classroom and two group activities or programs are also on hold due to outbreaks. The district would not comment on what those activities were.

ICCSD moved to a hybrid model of online/in-person instruction on Sept. 28.

School board members are set to discuss their Return to Learn plan once again at a board meeting Tuesday.
