WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) — This evening in Waterloo, a group of roughly 40 people known as "Get Out the Vote Vigil" gathered to honor the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The vigil took place at Lincoln Park and a moment of silence was held to remember the life and legacy of Ginsburg.

Those who attended the vigil could get registered to vote and also complete an absentee ballot request form.

Ginsburg's body will lie in repose at the Supreme Court, with arrangements to allow for public viewing despite the coronavirus pandemic.
