Today: A cold front will track through eastern Iowa today, but it will remain dry. Expect a mostly sunny sky with just a few clouds behind the cold front. High temperatures range from the middle 70s north to lower 80s south. A southwest wind this morning will eventually switch to the north later this afternoon 5-15 mph.
Tonight: Clear and cooler. Overnight lows drop to the 40s with a light north wind 5-10 mph.
Thursday: It is going to be cooler with high temperatures in the middle 60s to near 70° with a northeast wind 5-10 mph. The sky will be mostly sunny and it will continue to be a bit hazy due to smoke from the western US wildfires.
Friday: Another cool day with temperatures in the lower to middle 60s. There will likely be a little more cloud cover around.
This Weekend: It will be breezy Saturday and Sunday with a southeast wind 10-20 mph. We continue our dry stretch of weather with temperatures warming back into the 70s by Sunday.
