WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) -- Waterloo Mayor Quentin Hart will give the State of the City address Tuesday during a virtual event.
The event starts at 11 a.m.
It focuses on the achievements of the city from the past fiscal year including community projects and initiatives.
Director of Community Development Noel Anderson, Director of Public Works Randy Bennett and Director of Leisure Services Paul Huting will give updates on behalf of the city.
Guests will also talk about the city's expanding housing market, advances in Waterloo's technology sector, the future of broadband, and the city's progress toward inclusion and equity.
Police Chief Joel Fitzgerald will comment on recently passed historic police reforms.
Former Hawkeye Community College Vice President of Enrollment Services Kathy Flynn co-hosts the event.
