DUBUQUE, Iowa (KWWL) - A suspect is being sought after two people were injured in a crash following a chase that ended on Dubuque's Jackson Street Tuesday afternoon.
Lieutenant Ted McClimon with the Dubuque Police Department stated to KWWL that officers pulled over a driver for a traffic stop shortly before 3:20 p.m. at 16th and Central. The driver then fled the scene, leading officers on a chase through the downtown and North End areas.
The chase ended when the suspect hit two vehicles in the 1900 block of Jackson Street. The suspect fled on foot.
An adult female and juvenile from one of the hit vehicles were transported to a local hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
The investigation continues. The suspect's identity has not been confirmed by authorities.
