CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa. (KWWL) - The City of Cedar Rapids says you might begin to notice tags on right-of-way trees.
Contracted certified arborists have started to assess and mark tress that require trimming or removal as a result of the derecho.
The tree may appear healthy, but have structural damage that impacts its ability to survive long-term.
Trees are marked with a yellow tag for trimming and an orange tag for removal.
