DUBUQUE, Ia. (KWWL) - Northeast Iowa Community College told KWWL Monday that some students have tested positive for the novel coronavirus after they entered college buildings in two cities.
"We haven't had an outbreak by any means," said Kristi Flack, an operations manager at NICC. "We've had some exposure on the Calmar campus and we've had some in Peosta."
NICC says they have not identified any community spread of the virus.
The college's pandemic "task force" has met frequently since March to develop best practices for dealing with the virus, Flack said.
