OVER THE EDGE

KWWL wants you to go “Over The Edge” in Dubuque Friday, September 4th! It’s a unique opportunity for individuals and organizations to raise money and support the United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States by  rappelling off the Hotel Julien! If you’re not an “Edger,” you can sponsor, volunteer or simply donate! All funds raised go to the United Way’s Community Impact Fund!

RELEASE & REMEMBER

Due to COVID-19, Release & Remember will be a televised broadcast this year on Sunday, September 13th at Noon on The CW 7.2. There will be NO
in-person event. The 30-minute TV program will feature a short presentation followed by the release of 1,000 monarch butterflies, accompanied by the musical talents of Maddie Poppe, season 16 winner of American Idol!

PINK RIBBON RUN

The 14th Annual Pink Ribbon Run is going virtual Oct. 3-10!  Cancer doesn't stop for COVID-19 and neither does the need in our community. Due to COVID-19 many fundraisers are being canceled. Every dollar counts to people facing a cancer diagnosis. Your help is appreciated! You have the option to participate virtually as an individual or with a team, or you can skip the walk and just raise funds.
