CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) — Hy-Vee will be donating food and drink to residents in need across the Cedar Rapids area today and tomorrow.

"The damage inflicted by this storm to our communities is unlike anything we’ve seen in a long time, as it cut such a wide path across the state and hit so many areas. The damage is especially severe in the Cedar Rapids area, and we want to do whatever we can to help those residents as they clean up their neighborhoods and begin the recovery process."

Randy Edeker, Chairman of the Board, CEO and President of Hy-Vee

Hy-Vee will have semi-trailers and mobile busses available Thursday and Friday. The busses will also stop around neighborhoods to allow residents with no electricity to power their cellular phone.
