Iowa Head Coach Kirk Ferentz reacts to Fall without Football

IOWA CITY(KWWL)--Shortly after the Big Ten announcement that the conference Fall sports season would be moved to the Spring. Iowa Head Football Coach Kirk Ferentz expressed his disappointment with the league's decision.

Ferentz says he was very disappointment was for his players who worked hard to prepare for the Fall season with all of the challenges posed by the pandemic.

Kirk Ferentz, "It is really disappointing for everyone but that is where we are at right now--We learned of the decision today so now we will re-calibrate adjust and see what we can do moving forward we are all going to go through a period of disappointment and hurt here for awhile it's extremely frustrating its tough news to hear but we fully understand and appreciate the decision making. We have to move forward from this point.

Ferentz believes a Spring season is doable and his program will regroup and focus on the Big Ten Plan.
