DUBUQUE, Iowa (KWWL) -- The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium is launching a new initiative to provide those who are more susceptible to having severe complications from COVID-19 an opportunity to more safely enjoy the museum.
It's called 'Mask Monday' and it starts Monday, August 10. Visitors over the age of 5 years old will be required to wear masks on Mondays. Masks will remain optional for guests every other day of the week. Staff members and volunteers will continue wearing masks every day.
Guests can bring their owns masks or purchase them at the box office for $1.00 each. The River Museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are
$19.95 for adults, $14.95 for youths (ages 3-17) and $17.95 for seniors (ages 65+). Guests can save $2.00 by purchasing tickets online.
