This Evening: A rogue shower or storm may accompany the partly cloudy skies but most will steer clear of the rain. Temperatures and humidity will be very comfortable.
Tonight: We need some much-needed rain but unfortunately our rain chances are going down. We may see a few isolated showers tonight but most will avoid them with partly cloudy skies. Lows will be in the low to mid 60s with a light northwest wind.
Sunday: As the system pivots through eastern Iowa, it will struggle to develop widespread rain but a few scattered showers and storms are possible Sunday that will not amount to a whole lot. Otherwise, we should expect more clouds than sunshine with highs in the 70s (low 70s north to upper 70s south) with a north wind at 10 to 15 mph.
As the showers move out for Sunday night, we will see partly cloudy skies with lows in the low 50s north to upper 50s south.
Beginning of the Week: There may be some lingering clouds for Monday but the rain will have moved out. High pressure moves in and will give us plenty of sunshine for Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will struggle to make it out of the mid 70s with lows in the low to mid 50s (possible upper 40s north). Humidity stays low.
End of the Week: A few uncertain rain chances arrive Wednesday night through Thursday. Temperatures get back to near 80 with a south wind as lows warm to the mid 60s. Friday looks dry with highs in the mid 80s.
Next Weekend: Scattered showers and storms also look possible for Saturday before breaking on Sunday and returning Monday. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s with humidity returning.
